What are Apprenticeships

Earn whilst you learn

Apprenticships have been introduced to meet the needs of both young people and business.

They offer quality work based training as an alternative to full time study, leading to nationally recognised qualifications for well motivated young people.

16-18 year olds will benefit from Skills Funding Agency which is topped up by a small employer contribution. To receive apprenticeship funding you must be working a minimum of 30 hours per week in a childcare setting

Those aged 19-24 will receive a large funding subsidy, employers will make a small contribution to the cost of training.

We can offer Apprenticeships for over 25.

Apprenticships give you the opportunity to gain skills and nationally recognised Childcare Learning & Development and Management qualifications sought by employers throughout the Childcare sector. They are available at two levels, Intermediate Apprenticships and Advanced Apprenticeships, and we encourage progression to Advanced Apprenticeships where appropriate.

Throughout your Apprenticeship you will have the support of a member of Tigers Training Team and be assigned an Assessor who will guide you through your qualification.
