First Aid

We offer 12 hour courses to develop skills and understanding in order to become a named first aider within a childcare or early years setting. This course is delivered face to face at Tigers Training Centre on a regular basis.

This course is suitable for practitioners working in an early years, home environment or school setting to administer first aid to preserve life and prevent further harm.

​

The course covers knowledge, understanding and practical demonstrations of emergency scenarios and first aid procedures including accident and emergency first aid, dealing with and recognising allergic reactions, CPR and preserving life in various situations.

 

There is a written assessment at the end of the course which the learner needs to pass in order to achieve the qualification.
